Principal's Message

What a wonderful first few days of school it has been at Greenvale! There is truly nothing better than having our hallways and classrooms filled once again with the energy, laughter, and excitement of our students. Over these first few days, our Greenvale students have reconnected with old friends, made new ones, met their teachers, settled into their classrooms, and spent time reviewing the routines, expectations, and procedures that help make Greenvale a safe, kind, and welcoming place for everyone.

We are already looking forward to Back to School Night next Thursday! Mrs. Nikaj and I are excited to welcome our families back to Greenvale for this important evening. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child’s teacher, learn more about the year ahead, and get a glimpse into the learning and experiences your child will enjoy this year.

We also hope you will join the fun at our PTA’s “Back in Action!” Back-to-School Event! This promises to be a great night for our students and families and a perfect way to kick off the school year, reconnect with friends, meet new families, and celebrate the wonderful community that makes Greenvale so special.

As we settle into the school year, we will also begin conducting our required fire and lockdown safety drills in the coming weeks. Teachers will prepare students in advance so they understand what to expect and can participate calmly and confidently. I will also communicate with families when an upcoming drill is scheduled.

A new school year brings such a wonderful sense of possibility and renewed excitement for learning throughout both our Greenvale and Eastchester communities. Thank you for your continued trust, support, and partnership. We treasure your children, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn, grow, and celebrate alongside them each day.
