Good Day Greenvale 11/7/25

It is hard to believe that we are already two months into the school year! With Halloween behind us and Thanksgiving on the horizon, there is so much to celebrate and look forward to.

Our chorus, band, and orchestra rehearsals are now underway for our fourth and fifth graders, and it is wonderful to see such strong participation in our music program. The enthusiasm our students bring to their rehearsals is a true reflection of their musical talents and we look forward to their Holiday Concert in December.

The Scholastic Book Fair was a tremendous success! Thank you to our PTA for organizing this much-loved event and to all the families who supported it. Our students were thrilled to select their new books and share their excitement for reading with friends and teachers.

Students also had a wonderful time at our AH x GV Fall Festival. It was a fantastic evening of tricks, treats and fun for all. The collaboration between our two schools is wonderfull, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make it such a memorable event.

As always, our annual Halloween Parade was a highlight of the season. The weather cooperated beautifully, and our students’ costumes were nothing short of amazing—from K-Pop Demon Hunters to sports heroes to Alice in Wonderland characters. The creativity and school spirit were on full display!

Next week, we look forward to honoring Veterans Day with a visit from veterans in our Eastchester community. It is a meaningful opportunity for our students to express their gratitude and learn about the importance of service and sacrifice.

As we move through November, our Greenvale community is filled with appreciation for the many blessings we share. I am grateful every day for our dedicated staff, supportive families, and remarkable students who make Greenvale such a special place to learn and grow.
